In healthcare, transportation, banking, communi services. All these areas risk the same decay and ineffectiveness that confronts product development and design.
So off I went, and apparently The Innovator's Extinction is a big deal in that small country of 1.5M people. But after all the speaking, and workshops, and autographs, and meetings with enthusiastic luminaries and starry-eyed departmental workers eager to progress, my assessment remains, "I'll believe it when I see it."
Nothing happens because people have a desire. Innovation only happens when they apply budget and bestow authority upon experts to make it happen.
